Update!
I haven't had a lot of time to keep this blog as up to date as I would like so below are a selection of images from various murals and live events that I have worked on over the past few months!
CANSer paint Jam - Lost Souls & Cretin Collective
Heatham House Summer Exhibition - Twickenham
Insider Gallery - Warren Street
Vibe Place - Bermondsey - with TheRealDill
Lion-O - Leake Street - Lost Souls
Tentacle fight - Grimsby Street off Brick Lane- with SPzero76
Southbank Centre - Urban
Myself and the rest of the Lost Souls - SPZero76, Squirl and SiMitchell were asked to be involved with the 'Urban' event at the the Southbank Centre. We were given a huge wall underneath the famous black and white Phlegm and Roa pieces.
We chose to paint a 'takeaway' themed piece and as I'm on a bit of a health kick, I went with an all protein dinner for my piece. A good day painting with some of the best street/graffiti artists around - Dan Kitchener, Zadok, Spore, Pref, Ben Murphyand 3Dom to name a few.
Massive thanks go to Global Street Art for arranging it!

Smiley Commission
A friend of mine asked me to create a one off piece as a birthday present for his brother celebrating his recent travels and adventures snowboarding in New Zealand. His nickname has been Smiley for a long time so the inclusion of smiley faces were obvious.
Being a New Zealander myself I took a lot of pride in this one and wanted to put some time in with the details adding little nods here and there. Both him and his brother were really happy with the final result.

Streetfest 2013
This year I was invited with over 20 other artists to paint at Streetfest in Shoreditch. It was a great day of painting with friends in the sun and meeting lots of other like minded people.
Events involving beatboxing, street dance, bmx, skateboarding, live art and music went on throughout the day while we painted along the main stretch. The live graffiti this year was organised by Global Street Art with many recognisable names painting.
My piece was an homage to the Avengers complete with decapitated cartoon heads and my fictional character self, Captain Kris.
There are also a few videos floating around which I've included. In one of them I've been interviewed and you are able to see what I look like after going to a Stag do in Brighton and then painting a mural for the whole next day.
Pinched some of these shots from the London Vandal, go check out their post HERE.

Whippets Chasing Rabbits / Switch Studios Exhibition - Nottingham
Been a bit quiet on the blog updating recently but only due to be being busy so now I've got a chance, I'm going to upload some new bits.
First is a set of canvases for the Whippets Chasing Rabbits exhibition at Switch Studios in Nottingham. Had to turn these around pretty quickly as it was all a bit last minute. The coasters I created for the urban homeware company PostLiving were also shown.
Many recognised street/graffiti artists exhibited and the opening was a huge success. My pieces are a loose representation of several emotions expressed by my character/pseudonym Captain Kris.

Recently I was asked to create a set of coaster designs for PostLiving who are a company working with artists to produce individual graphic pieces of furniture and other items for the home.

LoveDough Live Art at Proud Camden
These are some shots of the LoveDough Live night at Proud in Camden that has now taken over Friday nights at the venue. I'm organising live art for each monthly event and I painted at the first one along with TOPS and OBIT.
It was a big success with a combination of art, dancers, DJ's and other performers. The goal is to make it bigger and better each time with different artists creating live art for each event.

CAN Mural
This is a project I worked on last year in November collaborating with two other artists, Phomer (www.phomer.com) and Raissa Pardini (www.raissapardini.com). The project was for CAN (Creative Artist Network) to help promote their organisation which helps bring freelance artists together to collaborate on various projects.
It was cold but the piece came together pretty well and is now sitting in CAN's new studios based in Shoreditch. There's a video coming soon where they've got me talking about myself which is something to look forward too as well.

Umbro X Footlocker Secret Walls
These are some shots from last weeks event at The Book Club in Shoreditch. Myself and 3 other artists were chosen as part of a competition to take part in a 90 minute live art battle for the semi-finals of the Umbro and Footlocker sponsored Secret Walls night, mentored and assisted by some of the more well known Secret Walls artists Riff, Alfa, Conzo and McBess.
Myself and Riff took on Ewa Mos and McBess with them taking the win on the night. On the other side of the room Dyox and Conzo went up against Georgia Hill and Alfa with Dyox taking the win.
The night was a massive success being hosted by Reeps One and Lethal Bizzle, the other artists were all great guys and I highly recommend checking out their work!
